…you are in the right place and I’m happy to meet you.

I’m Kathy Giusti, a 30 year, two-time cancer survivor. I have worked in oncology for decades and know our healthcare system inside and out. You can find my story here.

As a cancer survivor…

I understand how it feels once treatment is over. While you’re relieved, you’re also physically and emotionally struggling. It’s ok.

You’re not alone.

I wrote this article for patients like you. Katie Couric shared it in her newsletter, Wake-Up Call.

Take time to reset both physically and emotionally. Your life may look different now, and that’s okay.

Your support system matters. Acknowledge and stay connected to the people who helped you through.

Stay on top of follow-ups and tests. Early detection and vigilance are critical.

Understand your family’s risk. Share information and take steps to protect those you love.

If you want more information, my book “Fatal to Fearless: 12 Steps to Beating Cancer in a Broken Medical System” is super helpful-for you and for your loved ones. I wrote it with both the patient and caregiver in mind.
